There are two rules Anna Wintour sets for Met Gala goers; no smoking and no pictures. 

But Cole Sprouse, 26, and Luka Sabbat broke both these rules on Monday. 

Taking to Instagram Stories, the 21-year-old shared a now deleted post of his bathroom selfie with where he was lighting up with the Riverdale star.  
 

Luka attended fashion's night of nights in a monochrome printed ensemble of the American flag. He accessorized with a handbag over his shoulder while showing off his styled long hair.

However, it wasn't his bold ensemble that got people talking on Monday, it was his mirror selfie holding a cigarette.  

The background saw actor Cole also holding a cigarette to his mouth, while standing next to a 'no smoking' sign. 

The twin brother of Dylan Sprouse has previously come under fire for sharing photos of himself smoking, leaving fans up in arms.  

And while the Vogue Editor In Chief sets the no smoking, no photos rule each year, at least one star is typically caught violating her serious requests.

And while Kylie's photo appeared to go by without any consequences, Page Six reported on Tuesday that Anna had hired more security around the bathrooms this year to ensure there was no smoking.   

'This year, the Met is putting security guards in the bathroom to keep celebs from lighting up,' they reported. 

Luka, who was recently rumoured to be dating Kourtney Kardashian, 40, has since deleted the post. 

The model/actor was seen gracing the carpet on Monday with GQ editor Will Welch, while Cole stepped out with his long-term girlfriend and Riverdale co-star, Lili Reinhart.
